Though the Envy X2 doesn’t come with Retina display alike screen, the 1366×768 pixels screen resolution on the 11.6 inch IPS screen would also produce wonderful video and image effect for users. The touchscreen of Envy X2 also has other functions. By disconnecting the tablet and keyboard via the expansion ports, users could use Envy X2 as a seperate tablet, which means that the Envy X2 is not only suitable for individual customer needs, but also business uses.

The HP Envy X2 adopts Intel Atom Clover Trail processor and operates on the latest Microsoft Windows 8 OS. Users could also install the old Windows 7 or XP OS. Besides, the Envy X2 is also featuring a built-in backup battery to prolong the battery use.

Based on the unique techniques of HP, the HP Envy X2 is said to be a cooler and more practical tablet than iPad. But the problems appeared on HP’s previous tablets might worry people. And let’s just wait for the official release of Envy X2 to see the results.
