Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy Note has been a success of Samsung in the past time, although the mobile phone’s large size makes it quite difficult to handle compared to other smartphones like iPhone and HTC One X. There really exists a market for that large device. Maybe the large size of the phone just fills the gap between a normal smartphone and a tablet. Now, with the great popularity of Samsung Galaxy Note, its successor, the Samsung Galaxy Note II, is just on the corner for official release. The release date has been confirmed to be August 29th, half a month later only. Before the official release of Samsung Galaxy Note II, there’re full anticipations towards the specs and features. People are all guessing what this new phone would bring to the world. Now, as the official release is just right here under our noses, we tend to see what features the new handset would come with, summarizing from various anticipations and resources.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2Firstly, for the screen display, the device will not feature a 1080p display (as it’s too power and resource-hungry), but rather go for a slightly larger, 5.5-inch 1280 x 800-pixel Super AMOLED screen. Good news is that it will use a regular RGB matrix, rather than PenTile, which in simpler turns means more subpixels and better image quality. Quite obviously, the Samsung Galaxy Note II would continue its predecessor to provide amazing video experience for owners to watch HD movie on Galaxy Note with bright video effect.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II will also be expected to be powered by a Samsung Exynos 4 Quad chip. There’re rumors on both Exynos 4412 and Exynos 5250 processor on Note II, but it’s more reliable that the smartphone would adopt Exynos 4412 processor locked at 1.6 GHz. The RAM memory on the Galaxy Note II will most probably be 2 GB.

Though it’s expected that the Samsung Galaxy Note II should run on the latest Android OS, the 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the fact may disappoint people who have such thoughts. The leaked benchmark results show that the new phone is most probably running on the Android 4.0 ICS operating system.

From the rumors, camera is also a big concern from all people. Though the detailed information has not been that certain on what camera the new smartphone would adopt, it’s believed the new phone may configure with either 8MP or 12MP rear camera, with the former more possible.

For other information, we have to wait for the official release of the new smartphone, August 29th. If you have any information about this new phone, feel free to share with others in the comment part or contact me.
